All of our Torchlighter heroes are amazing people of faith! Each one lived a life committed to Jesus, centered on prayer, and focused on spreading light in a dark world. This March we had fun as we placed these heroes of the faith in a friendly competition, The Torchlighters Tournament! Each weekday for four weeks, Torchlighter fans voted for their favorite from two heroes via social media from our streaming platform, Redeem TV. The winners of each day advanced to the next round, thereby whittling the field of 20 down to 16, then 8, 4, and finally 2.
Yesterday, Perpetua and Corrie ten Boom competed in the championship round, with Corrie ten Boom emerging as the “Top Torchlighter” for 2021! Thank you to all who helped crown the winner! The full-length drama The Hiding Place and the one-hour documentary A Faith Undefeated are also available on Redeem TV. Corrie’s life is also presented in book form for kids, with lots of pictures, including some from the Torchlighter episode!

The Corrie ten Boom House strives to “keep alive the memory and spiritual heritage of the Ten Boom Family of Haarlem as a sign and inspiration for many.” Our film Corrie ten Boom, A Faith Undefeated was filmed in part at this location.
