George MüllerThe man who cared for 10,000 orphans through prayer
Radical prayer through desperate times
George Müller lives on radical prayer, depending on God to supply all his needs without asking for a cent from anyone—not even the congregation he pastors! When he comes into contact with the neglected street children of the city of Bristol (England), he discovers that the workhouses force these desperate orphans into unpaid labor. George and his wife, Mary, open the first orphanages supported entirely by prayer, and God miraculously provides for their every need. But enemies of their work devise a plan to shut down the orphanages for good. Will George’s trust in God remain strong in the face of cunning opponents and desperate circumstances? Children and adults alike will see radical faith in action in this episode of The Torchlighters, Heroes of the Faith. Read more about how George Müller lived on prayer on our blog.

What People are Saying
“My Childrens’ Favorites”
The Torchlighter videos are my childrens’ favorites! THANK YOU for making these ministry tools! We are missionaries in South America, and we really appreciate you putting the videos in Spanish.
We wanted something in our home that would enrich our children’s lives and give them missionary hearts, and these movies do that perfectly. We have recommended them to all the families we know who have children.
When you see what God can do through a Torchlighter, who is completely devoted to the Lord, your children (and you) will be inspired to serve Him more fully.
We are so grateful that you’ve provided a Christian look at history, showed us stories of brave Christians, and built our faith — one episode at a time. We thank you for providing excellent children’s DVD’s — a very rare thing indeed!
“Be assured, if you walk with him, look to him, and expect help from him, he will never fail you.”
